Mumbai: the case of a dismembered body found stuffed in a suitcase on Mahim beach has been solved and a teenage couple, including the man's adopted daughter, have been held for murder, a police official said on Saturday. the case is registered at Mahim police station,with the Crime Branch's Unit 5 conducting parallel probe. the police found Bennet Rebello had adopted Riya and sexually assaulted her because he did not agree to her relationship with her minor boyfriend. Aaradhya Jitendra Patil alias Riya claims to be the adopted daughter of Rebello, 59, the police investigation began after people spotted a Suitcase in the Arabian Sea behind Makhdoom Shah Baba shrine near Mahim on December 2 When opened, a man's limbs were found, along with a sweater, two trousers and three shirts. A tailor's tag on one of the shirts and Facebook helped the cops locate the victim's address in Vakola and, finally, crack the case.
